- 2 Large Honeycrisp Apple, peeled and sliced (about 3 cups) Can substitute any apple that you like
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Palm Sugar
- 1-2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 Tbsp Ghee
Add the ghee to a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Toss the sliced apples in the lemon juice and add them to the skillet.
Cook the apples until they are soft, about 6-10 minutes (time will depend on how thinly they are sliced). Add the coconut sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of salt to the apples and stir well.
Cook the apples until the sugar breaks down and becomes syrup-y, about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
