Ingredients

  • 1 Large Loaf Ciabbata (or 2 regular loafs), cut into cubes
  • 6 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, finely grated (the powdered kind)
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add the cubed ciabatta to a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, melted butter, parmesan cheese, lemon zest, dried parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until real well combined.
  • Pour the oil mixture over top of the bread cubes and gently toss the bread in the oil with a rubber spatula.
  • Dump the bread out onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread the bread cubes out into a single layer and space them out as much as you can.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, gently stirring about every 7 minutes. Bake until the croutons are goldenen and crispy. Let them sit on the hot baking sheet for a few minutes before devouring. Enjoy!
