I made this butter once and I have a hard time remembering anything before it’s existence. Because wow. Wondering if, maybe, my undying love of butter had skewed my opinion, I served this butter to three different sets of guests on three different occasions… and the verdict was in… AMAZING. If I’m going to serve butter with bread alongside an entree, I prefer it to be whipped butter. It’s light and airy and so much easier to spread. Plus it’s incredibly simple. And then when I had some extra time on my hand, I wanted to jazz up the butter a little. The result has become a must when serving bread. The result was this Whipped Roasted Garlic Butter.

This recipe is incredibly easy. The hardest part about it is exercising patience while the garlic roasts.
Let me show you how I made this Whipped Roasted Garlic Butter 👇🏻
First, let’s talk about roasted garlic. Incredibly easy, incredibly tasty.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Cut the top off of a head of garlic and gently remove some of the papery shell on the outside. Set the garlic on a piece of foil.

Drizzle the garlic with some olive oil. Like down in the crevices. Don’t drown it, maybe like a tablespoon of oil. Sprinkle the garlic with some sea salt.

Close up the foil into a ball around the garlic. Place on a small sheetpan.

Cook for about 40-50 minutes until the garlic is soft and golden. Let it cool.

Now let’s get to the butter portion…
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat 1 cup of softened butter on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until super light and fluffy.

Add 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, 1 tbsp of dried parsley. Squeeze out the garlic from 2 heads of roasted garlic. Make sure that the garlic cloves have cooled so that they won’t melt your butter.

Beat the butter one medium speed for a minute or two until everything is well combined.

Whipped butter should be stored in the refrigerator. Keep for up to 10 days.
Enjoy!!
